Creative Yoga Sequencing Teacher Training

with Charli Van Ness

Sequencing is the architecture of a class and is an art form in its own right. Over three immersive days with Charli Van Ness, you'll gain the tools, framework and creative confidence to build sequences that flow.

Overview

All Courses

A framework for creative freedom

When the shape of a practice is built with care with poses that connect, intentions that resonate and pacing that breathes, students can really embody what the teacher set out to share. When sequencing falters, even the warmest teaching can lose its thread.

Over three days with Charli Van Ness, you'll work with a clear framework for thinking about sequencing intelligently, alongside the freedom to play, experiment and find your own voice. Charli brings two decades of teaching, somatic exploration and creative movement into the room, and her approach to sequencing is shaped by everything from anatomy and acrobatics to sound, breath and intuitive flow. You'll explore mini-flows and embodied movement, learn how to layer for multi-level classes, and discover how to build toward a peak pose and gently return, all while keeping inclusivity, safety and anatomical integrity at the heart of your class.

This course is both theoretical and creative, practical and playful. By the end you'll have plenty of inspiration to build your own sequences alongside sample sequences to utilise and repurpose.
Take this as a stand-alone CPD, or count it toward your 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

"Some of the most profound sequences are born from life itself—an injury, a heartbreak, a season of growth or joy. When we stay open to listening, both inwardly and outwardly, we discover the wisdom to create movement that resonates, inspires, and becomes our own poetry in motion."
