This Holistic Kids Yoga Teacher Training — named Kula Kids (Kula meaning Tribe) — brings support, inspiration, self belief, empowerment and education to the child's development. Delivered through Movement, Mindfulness, Creativity, Nutrition, Song, Poetry, Sacred Sound and Storytelling.

No matter what challenges the child — physical, mental, emotional, environmental — this course will equip you with the tools to deliver the right guidance at the appropriate time for each child and their individual journey.

  • Creative sequencing and yoga-based movement — asana themes appropriate for child development
  • Yoga-based games, mindfulness & meditation
  • Breathing techniques and pranayama adapted for children
  • Sacred song — chanting (mantras and English-speaking songs)
  • Sacred sound — Nada Yoga
  • Poetry and inspirational creative writing
  • Conscious creatives, welcome circles and card intention pulling
  • Setting up your teaching environment
  • In alignment with child development for ages 5–11 with a yoga focus and awareness
  • Study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice — benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns

  • Plant-based science — aromatherapy and essential oils: how the application of oils can impact children's wellbeing and class intention
  • Yogic precepts as they relate to children — Yamas and Niyamas
