Peace of Mind | Mindfulness & Meditation

with Charli Van Ness

An in–depth journey through breathwork, mindfulness and meditation, designed to optimise mental health, deepen self–awareness, and equip you to share these practices with the people you teach and care for.

Overview

All Courses

Stillness for a restless world

The mind carries the weight of it the fast–paced, pressured, digital and often sedentary world we inhabit. Peace of Mind is 3–day exploration of practices that alleviate that weight: Dhyana (meditation), Dharana (mindfulness), Yoga Nidra (yogic rest) and Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound). Together they bring stillness to the mind, rest to the body, and a steady return to inner calm and authentic self.

This course is an invitation to strengthen your own mental health, and to grow your capacity to support others – students, clients, loved ones – who may be navigating anxiety, low mood, sleep difficulties, chronic pain, recovery, or simply the noise and overwhelm of modern life. The teachings are practical and adaptive: they can be offered to people with mobility challenges, including wheelchair users, and to anyone who needs a gentler way in to yoga.

Take it as a stand–alone CPD, or count it as a 30–hour elective module on the Shala's 300–hour Yoga Teacher Training programme.

"These practices don't ask you to escape your life – they teach you how to meet it, kindly, from a place of calm."
